Spectators: 7756 (Terracing: 5819, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 154) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Olgierd Kowalski got the match started through his kick off. BYDGOSTIA's Kazimierz Jajko quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Amado Parente, made in the 3rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Kowalski in the 6th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Antonio Adán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olgierd Kowalski kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Zbyszko Leper was a little too slow when Zigmantas Gimbutas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. With a little luck, BYDGOSTIA's Zbyszko Leper got control of the ball when Zigmantas Gimbutas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14thth minute of the game Zigmantas Gimbutas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BYDGOSTIA's Zbyszko Leper was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Amado Parente threw the ball into play from the sideline. BYDGOSTIA's Kazimierz Jajko quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 18 minutes of play, SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zbyszko Leper was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 41 minutes, Alberto Malheiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Braga and the BYDGOSTIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antonio Adán took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Kowalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, BYDGOSTIA's goal looked a bit too open when Zigmantas Gimbutas came free, but Zbyszko Leper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zigmantas Gimbutas made a kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Alberto Malheiro got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Malheiro. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Alberto Malheiro hit a great ball. BYDGOSTIA's Sebastian Bochynski was substituted for Patryk Zgonina. BYDGOSTIA made a substitution. Yu Ran Fan replaced Emil Piesciuk. BYDGOSTIA's Marcin Prusinowski was substituted for Kazimierz Jajko. In the 63rd minute, Alberto Malheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute Stig-Åke Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Leper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbyszko Leper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Stig-Åke Mattsson made a precise shot to the right of Zbyszko Leper. BYDGOSTIA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Olgierd Kowalski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Antonio Adán tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The score was now 4-2. 93 minutes into the match, Stig-Åke Mattsson notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of BYDGOSTIA's Zbyszko Leper. Zbyszko Leper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Braga had won after a very even match.
