When Christos Skondras fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Celta de Virgos's protests and gave Christos Skondras a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, Christos Skondras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the game, BYDGOSTIA's Ceferino Odol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zacarias Ascencio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Christos Skondras kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Ceferino Odol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Ceferino Odol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zacarias Ascencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 21st minute, Christos Skondras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, BYDGOSTIA's Ceferino Odol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zacarias Ascencio. Zacarias Ascencio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. With his leg Zacarias Ascencio managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when BYDGOSTIA's Ceferino Odol fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Ceferino Odol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zacarias Ascencio stood somewhat misplaced when Ceferino Odol came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 32 minute. In the 34th match minute, Celta de Virgos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christos Skondras to maneuver through the defense. Zacarias Ascencio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceferino Odol in the 35th minute. Celta de Virgos's Zacarias Ascencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Celta de Virgos from getting a goal against them. Ceferino Odol scored 6-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zacarias Ascencio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zacarias Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Odol, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Zacarias Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Odol in the 68th minute of the match. Nicklas Lindström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Ascencio having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Olgierd Kowalski made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Celta de Virgos's Zacarias Ascencio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. BYDGOSTIA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
