A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Pipis Dilberis hit a great ball. Quintino Carvalhais blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zein Tutupoli having to make a save. Zein Tutupoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintino Carvalhais in the 6th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Zigmantas Gimbutas made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gaviotas FC's Zein Tutupoli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zigmantas Gimbutas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zein Tutupoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 14th minute of the match. Gaviotas FC's Zein Tutupoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 17th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Zigmantas Gimbutas notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gaviotas FC's Zein Tutupoli. Zein Tutupoli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the match, Gaviotas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zigmantas Gimbutas came free, but Zein Tutupoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Zigmantas Gimbutas made a precise shot to the right of Zein Tutupoli. Gaviotas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Zigmantas Gimbutas scored 0-4 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zein Tutupoli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Braga's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by André Jordão in the 30th minute. After taking down the ball on SC Braga's corner Valdomiro Lira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zein Tutupoli quite easily take care of the ball. 33 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Berenguer came free, but Antonio Adán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zein Tutupoli came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas. But to his dismay, Zigmantas Gimbutas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 44th minute SC Braga were awarded a corner. André Jordão went to the cornerflag to take it. Zigmantas Gimbutas kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zigmantas Gimbutas was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ariel Lihach in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Adán prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Zigmantas Gimbutas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 56 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Jon-Egil Sætre. SC Braga made a substitution. Stig-Åke Mattsson replaced Zigmantas Gimbutas. Jon-Egil Sætre hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Inocencio Patxi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaviotas FC's Zein Tutupoli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Gaviotas FC from getting a goal against them. Zein Tutupoli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig-Åke Mattsson's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Ivan Mancio hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Enzo Julian replaced Eleuterio Nardo. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Arnoldo Pueblo replaced Geronimo Berenguer. Ivan Mancio kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match, Stig-Åke Mattsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zein Tutupoli was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 70th minute, SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zein Tutupoli. Zein Tutupoli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. SC Braga's Lu Xun Lei quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Inocencio Patxi, made in the 74th minute of the game. The supporters of SC Braga booed when Gaviotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Henry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charl De Metser blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zein Tutupoli having to make a save. After having played for 78 minutes, Antonio Cieri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Braga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Cieri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Stig-Åke Mattsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zein Tutupoli. That made the score 0-7 in the 80 minute of play. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Charl De Metser hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Ariel Lihach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zein Tutupoli was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Stig-Åke Mattsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stig-Åke Mattsson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. After a defensive mix-up in Gaviotas FC's zone, Stig-Åke Mattsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zein Tutupoli came out of the goal and Stig-Åke Mattsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zein Tutupoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gaviotas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Charl De Metser was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Braga's players had a chance to rest. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Braga had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
