Zachary Bienienda was slow to take the kick. During this time KOCAELİSPOR's players had a chance to rest. After 47 minutes of play, KOCAELİSPOR's Ömer Demirci made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Cerezo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

S.C.CHUÍ's Armando Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aşır Zabit in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's Aşır Zabit sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Cerezo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. KOCAELİSPOR's Roland Rakowicz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Carlos Gamarra in the 83 minute of the game. In the 85th minute, Aşır Zabit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Cerezo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After some careless play in the S.C.CHUÍ defense, Aşır Zabit kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Cerezo. The S.C.CHUÍ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Cerezo should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's goal looked a bit too open when Aşır Zabit came free, but Armando Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the S.C.CHUÍ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KOCAELİSPOR.
