After 8 played minutes Fajteri got a freekick which was hit by Rugerij Vovk. With a little luck, Fajteri's Kostja Vertot got control of the ball when Linus Mattes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kostja Vertot was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Linus Mattes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Linus Mattes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Linus Mattes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Linus Mattes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fajteri's Štefan Saje pulled a muscle in his leg after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Linus Mattes during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fajteri made a substitution. Tiburcio Abadie replaced Štefan Saje. After 24 played minutes TSV Delliehausen got a freekick which was hit by Linus Mattes. TSV Delliehausen's Rafael Heintz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milisav Kovše in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Eliseo Mano notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of TSV Delliehausen's Rafael Heintz. Rafael Heintz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jean-Marc Debut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Kostja Vertot made a huge save. In the 39th minute of the match Fajteri got a corner. TSV Delliehausen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thomas Filipović ran over to the corner to take the kick. Feručo Camlek hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Boris Seidl's late challenge caught a Fajteri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boris Seidl helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, TSV Delliehausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Seidl to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Heintz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mano in the 46th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean-Marc Debut was the one to do the kick off. Kostja Vertot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarkko Loikala in the 51st minute of the match. Jason Bäcker hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Kostja Vertot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Marc Debut in the 55th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Linus Mattes in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kostja Vertot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Milisav Kovše came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Fajteri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milisav Kovše couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Thomas Filipović could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Rafael Heintz however easily saved by the left post. Kostja Vertot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Linus Mattes in the 74th minute of the match. Fajteri's Arnulf Vidmar was substituted for Feručo Camlek. Fajteri's Armando Vogrinčič was substituted for Eliseo Mano. Rafael Heintz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Vogrinčič in the 81st minute of play. Rafael Heintz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Vogrinčič went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. TSV Delliehausen made a substitution. Armando Vogrinčič blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Heintz having to make a save.
