In the 15th minute, Habil Castolo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 19 minutes, Paolo Eutor made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinicio Aires prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nereo Roldanillo came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the the xeneise dream team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Roldanillo couldn't finish the play. Vinicio Aires didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 44th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. 47 minutes into the match, the xeneise dream team's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Dropinski came free, but Vinicio Aires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
