Cederik Huts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nildo Alcântara's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Kickers United's Cederik Huts got control of the ball when Nildo Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nildo Alcântara got free with Cederik Huts in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kickers United's Nicolaas Van Bombergen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felipe Cabral in the 44 minute of the game. After 46 minutes, Felipe Cabral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ and the Kickers United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Felipe Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lode Rouvroys stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diguinho da Mata made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Lode Rouvroys sent off a good shot on target. Cederik Huts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nildo Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lode Rouvroys in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diguinho da Mata saved Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ from getting behind. In the 59th minute Nildo Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cederik Huts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cederik Huts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nildo Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, Nildo Alcântara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Antonio Netels replaced Iwan Banach. Diguinho da Mata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lode Rouvroys in the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Cléber Santana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cederik Huts was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Cléber Santana in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Cléber Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Cederik Huts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cléber Santana went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Kickers United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
