Kickers United were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Libra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomás Firmin took the corner. Tomás Firmin made a great header on Kickers United's corner, it was just that Libra's Valdemar Olsson managed to reach the ball for a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armin Nestares to make the kick off. Cederik Huts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Nestares in the 52nd minute of play. Cederik Huts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigge Fürst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Libra's Valdemar Olsson got control of the ball when Luca Savino tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goal looked a bit too open when Armin Nestares came free, but Cederik Huts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes of play, Libra's Armin Nestares made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cederik Huts was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kickers United made a substitution. Toon Adriaensens replaced Niels Vandamme. Cederik Huts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jorge Reijnders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Libra made a substitution. Casper Viklund replaced Armin Nestares. Valdemar Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Reijnders in the 87th minute of play. Dino Maquiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Valdemar Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Ove Ahlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the game, Jorge Reijnders cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Valdemar Olsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
