After 18 minutes Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robin Alin who took care of the corner kick. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Skånes stolthet!'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Seçkin Öksüzoğlu was slow to take the kick. During this time Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Lorenzo James heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Hugo Bergqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo James in the 31st minute. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's Batıkan Muhsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmy Clementsson in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Sigvard Lange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batıkan Muhsin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Benedicto Bihar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tᴜʀᴋᴇʏ Lɪᴏɴꜱ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Bihar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Skånes stolthet!'s Hugo Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Bihar in the 55th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Benedicto Bihar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Bergqvist was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Benedicto Bihar sped through Skånes stolthet!'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hugo Bergqvist. If Lorenzo James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Batıkan Muhsin made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when David Accam sent off a good shot on target. The Skånes stolthet! supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Skånes stolthet! would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
