The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Academia FC booed when Rammuka SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmo Rink didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kasper Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmo Jaanovits, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Asko Kuul got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kasper Schmeichel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 9 minutes into the match, Academia FC's Elmo Jaanovits sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kasper Schmeichel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, Elmo Jaanovits cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kasper Schmeichel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 14 minutes, Elmo Rink mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rammuka SK and the Academia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elmo Rink kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rammuka SK's zone, Elmo Jaanovits stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kasper Schmeichel came out of the goal and Elmo Jaanovits tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Academia FC's Walery Balkiewicz got control of the ball when Henri Anier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Academia FC's Walery Balkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hardo Usin in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hardo Usin in the 29th minute of play forced Academia FC's goalkeeper Walery Balkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasper Schmeichel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elmo Jaanovits went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Elmo Jaanovits blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kasper Schmeichel having to make a save. Kasper Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elmo Jaanovits in the 34th minute of play. Walery Balkiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hardo Usin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Hardo Usin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walery Balkiewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 43 minutes into the match, Elmo Jaanovits notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Rammuka SK's Kasper Schmeichel. Kasper Schmeichel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elmo Jaanovits was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rammuka SK's goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rammuka SK's Kasper Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmo Jaanovits in the 54th minute of play. Academia FC made a substitution. Tancredo Hondaro replaced Elmo Jaanovits. Rammuka SK's Kasper Schmeichel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Rammuka SK from getting a goal against them. Tancredo Hondaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kasper Schmeichel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. With a little luck, Rammuka SK's Kasper Schmeichel got control of the ball when Tancredo Hondaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute, Tancredo Hondaro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kasper Schmeichel. The goal made the score 1-4. Kasper Schmeichel made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Tancredo Hondaro sent off a good shot on target. Kasper Schmeichel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tancredo Hondaro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 73 minute of play. Asko Kuul might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kasper Schmeichel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Asko Kuul ran back to his position shaking his head. Walery Balkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hardo Usin in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Academia FC's Tancredo Hondaro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kasper Schmeichel. Kasper Schmeichel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Kasper Schmeichel came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Academia FC's Tancredo Hondaro. But to his dismay, Tancredo Hondaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Academia FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
