After 10 played minutes The Cavern Club got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Vergaray. 13 minutes into the match, Vęgoria Team's goalkeeper Bogdan Pilarski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Vergaray. Vladimir Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Pavlidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimir Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 16th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Emre Demir in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by The Cavern Club's Şanver Kortan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberigo Prosperi in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bogdan Pilarski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Pavlidis came free, but Vladimir Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes The Cavern Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emre Demir who took care of the corner kick. Szczepan Fiszer was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 38 minutes into the match, Vaggelis Pavlidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimir Prestes. The Cavern Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vaggelis Pavlidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The The Cavern Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vęgoria Team were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vaggelis Pavlidis to make the kick off. Alberigo Prosperi might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bogdan Pilarski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberigo Prosperi ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberigo Prosperi in the 53rd minute of play forced Vęgoria Team's goalkeeper Bogdan Pilarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to The Cavern Club getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Asaf Durcan hit a great ball. Vaggelis Pavlidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gavino Demesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Alberigo Prosperi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bogdan Pilarski. Vęgoria Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberigo Prosperi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The Cavern Club's Luis Vázquez was substituted for Alberigo Prosperi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Vázquez in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bogdan Pilarski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vaggelis Pavlidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimir Prestes having to make a save. Vladimir Prestes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Vázquez in the 89th minute of play forced Vęgoria Team's goalkeeper Bogdan Pilarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luis Vázquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Ramon Piarres in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vęgoria Team's Alf Palm. Vladimir Prestes came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Vęgoria Team's Roman Sierocki. But to his dismay, Roman Sierocki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The The Cavern Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vęgoria Team's performance. The match ended with a win for Vęgoria Team.
