A collision led to Sajones F.C. getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Halil Niğdeli hit a great ball. Pastor Frantzes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberigo Prosperi in the 8th minute of the match. Alberigo Prosperi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Pastor Frantzes made a huge save. Gonzalo Vergaray kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Cavern Club's goalkeeper Vladimir Prestes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Sajones F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Quilo to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Alberigo Prosperi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Frantzes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sajones F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alberigo Prosperi was slow to take the kick. During this time The Cavern Club's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in Sajones F.C.'s zone, Asaf Durcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Frantzes came out of the goal and Asaf Durcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th play minute Alberigo Prosperi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pastor Frantzes. 1-0. Alberigo Prosperi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pastor Frantzes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Ferruccio Chelodi made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Isaias Sazon. When Alberigo Prosperi came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the The Cavern Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberigo Prosperi couldn't finish the play. After 41 minutes Sajones F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alberigo Prosperi who took care of the corner kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaias Sazon to strike the kick off in the second half. Isaias Sazon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Vladimir Prestes made a huge save. 58 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's Alberigo Prosperi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pastor Frantzes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eliseo Claude fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimir Prestes having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Raitin came free, but Vladimir Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Sajones F.C.'s corner Hugo Raitin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vladimir Prestes quite easily take care of the ball. Ermegildo Quilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Vladimir Prestes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sajones F.C.'s Rucha Dupak was substituted for Halil Niğdeli. The Cavern Club were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Sajones F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alberigo Prosperi took the corner. Ramon Piarres was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Gonzalo Vergaray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Frantzes having to interfere. Pastor Frantzes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Prosperi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sajones F.C.'s Fidel Macerio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Şanver Kortan, made in the 82nd minute of the game. 86 minutes into the game, Ferruccio Chelodi threw the ball into play from the sideline. The Cavern Club's Şanver Kortan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sajones F.C.'s goalkeeper Pastor Frantzes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
