After 48 played minutes Berenjenas de Punto Fijo got a freekick which was hit by Nico Otamendi. After the first half Sajones F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Ramiréz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isaias Sazon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Thibaut Vandamme made a huge save. After 95 played minutes Berenjenas de Punto Fijo got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Rakowski. When Hugo Raitin came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Sajones F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Raitin couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sajones F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
