Spectators: 7720 (Terracing: 5791, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) The supporters of CLAYMORE COUNTRY booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Žigmund Csontos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gilbert Bonsaint came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the CLAYMORE COUNTRY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilbert Bonsaint couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anísio Azevedo in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Štefan Semeno saved AFK Petržalka from getting behind. Štefan Semeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michal Hudák blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduardo Martini having to make a save. Štefan Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Azevedo in the 22nd minute of the match. Michal Hudák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Bonsaint came free, but Štefan Semeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Štefan Semeno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anísio Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After 33 minutes AFK Petržalka's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anísio Azevedo who took care of the corner kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A sloppy throw-in by Bernardino Orlin in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AFK Petržalka's Balázs Borbély. In the 60th minute, Anísio Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to CLAYMORE COUNTRY getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sten Lindell hit a great ball. CLAYMORE COUNTRY made a substitution. Dusty Amireau replaced Anthony Eadie. Sten Lindell kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Peter Pekarík in the 69th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Eduardo Martini's left hand side. Viktor Seno hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. CLAYMORE COUNTRY made a substitution. Emilian Onișoru replaced Bernardino Orlin. After a rather tough play, AFK Petržalka's Viktor Seno got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Vernon De Marco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, CLAYMORE COUNTRY's Anísio Azevedo tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, CLAYMORE COUNTRY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Washington Arantes to maneuver through the defense. Štefan Semeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Bonsaint, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Balázs Borbély hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Anísio Azevedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Štefan Semeno. That made the score 2-1 in the 88 minute of play. Žigmund Csontos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Martini having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduardo Martini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The AFK Petržalka fans cheered their team off the field, for while CLAYMORE COUNTRY had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
