Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Žigmund Csontos took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jan Abrahamsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Bališ in the 6th minute of the match. Štefan Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Marques in the 11th minute of the match. If Edgar Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgar Marques kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Štefan Semeno. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. With a little luck, AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno got control of the ball when Edgar Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan Abrahamsson came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák. But to his dismay, Michal Hudák quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Jan Abrahamsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Žigmund Csontos in the 26th minute of play. Michal Hudák blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Abrahamsson having to make a save. When Žigmund Csontos fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFK Petržalka's protests and gave Žigmund Csontos a yellow card for diving instead. PP Plessydask's Hjalmar Haegg was substituted for Babe Baadegaard. Žigmund Csontos hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With a little luck, AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno got control of the ball when Edgar Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgar Marques struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Štefan Semeno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PP Plessydask. Igor Bališ kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Marques made a kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind PP Plessydask's goalkeeper Jan Abrahamsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Žigmund Csontos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jan Abrahamsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jan Abrahamsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Hudák, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Štefan Semeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Marques in the 62nd minute of play. With a little luck, PP Plessydask's Jan Abrahamsson got control of the ball when Michal Hudák tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of PP Plessydask booed when AFK Petržalka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Zedník didn't get a good kick on the ball. PP Plessydask's Bruno Costa was substituted for Per-Oskar Sandström. After 68 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Richard Zedník. After a defensive mix-up in AFK Petržalka's zone, Bertil Lundberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Štefan Semeno came out of the goal and Bertil Lundberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sungur Tekin's late challenge caught a AFK Petržalka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sungur Tekin helped the player get up and apologised. Sungur Tekin hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. If Michal Hudák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 76 minutes into the match, PP Plessydask's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Hudák came free, but Jan Abrahamsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michal Hudák recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. PP Plessydask's Jan Abrahamsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save PP Plessydask from getting a goal against them. The supporters of AFK Petržalka booed when PP Plessydask was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Lundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
