The corner went over the outstretched arms of Coriano FC's goalie and right to Eladio Ulloa. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Coriano FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 13 minutes, Eulalio Callejas made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Coriano FC's Cristoforo Musso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the game, one of Coriano FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Eulalio Callejas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 played minutes Ballet Azul got a freekick which was hit by Eladio Ulloa. Cristoforo Musso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Callejas in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Coriano FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Dino Baciadonne hit a great ball. Coriano FC's Cristoforo Musso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eladio Ulloa in the 29th minute of play. Cristoforo Musso made an important save on a dangerous shot by René Puente in the 35th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Cristoforo Musso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ballet Azul's José Luis Chilavert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Di Nucci in the 43rd minute of play. Eulalio Callejas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Cristoforo Musso made a huge save. Eladio Ulloa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferdinando Di Camillo to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinando Di Camillo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Luis Chilavert saved Ballet Azul from getting behind. 55 minutes into the match, Ballet Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Pang Zhen came free, but José Luis Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, Coriano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Boccanera to maneuver through the defense. Pepe Rojas, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cristoforo Musso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odín Enríquez in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Coriano FC's Damiano Di Nucci ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Luis Chilavert. José Luis Chilavert yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. The supporters of Coriano FC booed when Ballet Azul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nahuel Cunningham didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 minutes, Ferdinando Di Camillo made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ballet Azul's José Luis Chilavert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ballet Azul had won after a very even match.
