Ballet Azul's Pepe Rojas shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by 박 서문 but with some difficulty. Purple Talents's 박 서문 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esequiel Dohrmann in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Victorino Lazcano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Luis Chilavert. Ballet Azul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorino Lazcano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 28th minute of the match, Esequiel Dohrmann tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 박 서문 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Callejas in the 31st minute of play forced Purple Talents's goalkeeper 박 서문 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's goal looked a bit too open when Esequiel Dohrmann came free, but 박 서문 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 박 서문 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of René Puente's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Ballet Azul were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Purple Talents's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pepe Rojas took the corner. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Eladio Ulloa put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of 박 서문. José Luis Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Lazcano in the 39th minute of play. Purple Talents were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Ballet Azul's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christoffer Lingren took the corner. The corner led Purple Talents's Christoffer Lingren to fire away a dangerous shot which José Luis Chilavert despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Hannes De Vorster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 44 minutes, Pepe Rojas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballet Azul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pepe Rojas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danilo Quiroga's late challenge caught a Purple Talents's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danilo Quiroga helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Purple Talents booed when Ballet Azul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Quiroga didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorino Lazcano made a kick off. If Eladio Ulloa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. José Luis Chilavert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorino Lazcano in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes Ballet Azul's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christoffer Lingren who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Leo De Hond got away a dangerous shot. Despite this José Luis Chilavert quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. José Luis Chilavert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leo De Hond went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Callejas in the 56th minute of play forced Purple Talents's goalkeeper 박 서문 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Purple Talents's goal looked a bit too open when René Puente came free, but 박 서문 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 박 서문 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from René Puente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nahuel Cunningham made in the 71st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Odín Enríquez immediately put the ball in play. 박 서문 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eladio Ulloa's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute Eladio Ulloa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 박 서문 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Ballet Azul's Eladio Ulloa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 박 서문 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. José Luis Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Lazcano, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 박 서문 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eladio Ulloa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 박 서문 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odín Enríquez in the 85th minute of the match. 박 서문 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odín Enríquez in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Purple Talents defense, Eladio Ulloa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 박 서문. The Purple Talents fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 박 서문 should have stopped the shot. Ballet Azul's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
