In the 25th minute Sylwester Mleczewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Susara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurențiu Susara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylwester Mleczewski in the 26th minute of the match. Eugeniusz Siekierski hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When Christoforos Iordanakos came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Saronida FC fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Heinz Schneider in the 35th minute of play forced Ajax Poland's goalkeeper Mateusz Baran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikiforos Fragis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateusz Baran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Veniamin Zisimopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Mateusz Baran made a huge save.
