Pedrinho Falconetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ni Le Zheng having to interfere. 7 minutes in the game Ni Bin Zhen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to 武光星. A collision led to Encarale a la gordita getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ni Bin Zhen hit a great ball. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Batán's goalkeeper Ni Le Zheng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute of the match AC Batán got a corner. Encarale a la gordita's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gong Feng ran over to the corner to take the kick. AC Batán's Gong Feng was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Shao Shu Lang in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 15 minutes into the game, Acácio Nogueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Shao Shu Lang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Shao Shu Lang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Acácio Nogueira's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Acácio Nogueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Shao Shu Lang having to make a save. The supporters of Encarale a la gordita booed when AC Batán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Acácio Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Encarale a la gordita's 武光星 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ni Le Zheng. Ni Le Zheng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Cristo Serapio put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Shao Shu Lang. 武光星 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shao Shu Lang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Acácio Nogueira's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 45th match minute, AC Batán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo-Nicolás Perez to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Pedrinho Falconetti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ni Le Zheng was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Encarale a la gordita made a substitution. Paulino Senon replaced Osvaldo Mendebal. Encarale a la gordita's Jurand Sienkowski was substituted for 武光星. Encarale a la gordita's Herman Lindholm was substituted for Ildefonso Bernabel.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Acácio Nogueira to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Nogueira in the 55th minute of play forced Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Shao Shu Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Herman Lindholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shao Shu Lang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute AC Batán were awarded a corner. Gong Feng went to the cornerflag to take it. AC Batán's Konrad Wielkopolski was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Shao Shu Lang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Serapio in the 77th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Encarale a la gordita defense, Acácio Nogueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shao Shu Lang. The Encarale a la gordita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shao Shu Lang should have stopped the shot. AC Batán's Cido Cardozo was substituted for Acácio Nogueira. Ni Le Zheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jurand Sienkowski in the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cido Cardozo in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shao Shu Lang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The AC Batán players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
