In the 26thth minute of the game Cristo Serapio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Edinho Pirani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 29 played minutes AC Batán got a freekick which was hit by Üllar Vilba. Edinho Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Wielkopolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ni Le Zheng made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Zico Orange sent off a good shot on target. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Edinho Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Serapio in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zico Orange in the 38th minute of play forced AC Batán's goalkeeper Ni Le Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ni Le Zheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Orange in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Pirani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cido Cardozo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Cardozo in the 60th minute of play forced Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Edinho Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, AC Batán's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno-Henrique Orange came free, but Ni Le Zheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno-Henrique Orange recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edinho Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Wielkopolski in the 88th minute of the match. If Bruno-Henrique Orange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Acácio Nogueira got free with Edinho Pirani in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eusébio Orange struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ni Le Zheng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AC Batán walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
