When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Ivan Vilhena took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sebastian Titz to make any attempt to save it. The Sydney FC fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Sydney FC's Emanuel Ogășanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Önder Cebi in the 45th minute of play forced Ɍυƒυs™'s goalkeeper 周益亦 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 周益亦 came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Sydney FC's Önder Cebi. But to his dismay, Önder Cebi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

52 minutes into the game, Angelo Milanese cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. 周益亦 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
