It was Aurelio Feliz who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Yrigoyen.F.C's corner Aurelio Feliz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luís Leme quite easily take care of the ball. CJ Klose struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Luís Leme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yrigoyen.F.C. Ulisses Meira might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petr Školník. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulisses Meira ran back to his position shaking his head. Petr Školník showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Meira in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Bogumil Absolwent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Feliz in the 41st minute of play. Atilano Sotil kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. CJ Klose was the one to do the kick off.
