In the 14th minute, Fábio Secco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute Elias Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of RealMadrid Club de Fútbol booed when Arsenal de Gols F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isak Kongegaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Elias Siqueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Leme. In the 28th minute of the game Jacek Skorny made a throw-in which Ramón Morales played forward. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Marcelo Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulisses Meira in the 30th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Franciszek Ludwa in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Arsenal de Gols F.C's Isak Kongegaard. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind RealMadrid Club de Fútbol's goalkeeper Luís Leme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ulisses Meira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Marcelo Gröhe made a huge save. A collision led to Arsenal de Gols F.C getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Betão Duarte hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the game, Ulisses Meira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelo Gröhe. Ulisses Meira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. When Jacek Skorny fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RealMadrid Club de Fútbol's protests and gave Jacek Skorny a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, RealMadrid Club de Fútbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacek Skorny to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulisses Meira to strike the kick off in the second half.
