The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Di Federico in the 7th minute of play forced Tierra del Fuego FC's goalkeeper Natalio Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dennis Di Federicos short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Natalio Heli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The S.S.C. NAPOLI fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when S.S.C. NAPOLI's Fulvio Grande looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tierra del Fuego FC's Natalio Heli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Bassani in the 16th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Dennis Di Federico made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tierra del Fuego FC's Natalio Heli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
