The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ema City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bartosz Trzenzalski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Beturian in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Ema City's Marek Mockiewicz got a free kick in the 21st minute. Arnaldo Beturian received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bartosz Trzenzalski came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnaldo Beturian slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Ema City's goalkeeper Bartosz Trzenzalski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Beturian. In the 29th minute José Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Eanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If José Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dionisia's Serafim Eanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Carneiro in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Ema City's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Beturian came free, but Bartosz Trzenzalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dionisia's zone, José Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafim Eanes came out of the goal and José Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Carneiro was the one to do the kick off. When Ema City's José Carneiro in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dionisia's goalie prevented a goal. Serafim Eanes made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when José Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. Dionisia made a substitution. Mauro Esiquio replaced Arnaldo Beturian. In the 66thth minute of the game José Carneiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dionisia's Serafim Eanes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ema City's José Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Cezary Nalaskowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
