With an extended leg and a bit of luck Álvaro Perpiñán prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute Lekko Spoceni were awarded a corner. Desiderio Ibañez went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 17th minute, Sang Gama left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lekko Spoceni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Lekko Spoceni booed when Sporting Burgas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslaw Piglowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sang Gama in the 28th minute of play forced Sporting Burgas's goalkeeper Álvaro Perpiñán to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 played minutes Sporting Burgas got a freekick which was hit by Miroslaw Piglowski. Álvaro Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sang Gama in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Lekko Spoceni's goal looked a bit too open when Davor Šuker came free, but Mikolaj Szotek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Although Sporting Burgas had been in control for most of the match, Lekko Spoceni still came away with the win.
