Mikolaj Szotek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cruz Credo in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Maravilla booed when Lekko Spoceni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argetim Sur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Facundo Altamirano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sang Gama, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nemanja Vidić kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Desiderio Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vasco Gentil charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vasco Gentil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Gentil. Mikolaj Szotek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cruz Credo in the 32nd minute of the match. Facundo Altamirano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sang Gama, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 36 minutes Maravilla's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wojciech Malicki who took care of the corner kick. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maravilla's goalkeeper Facundo Altamirano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Shaun Allison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Cruz Credo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikolaj Szotek was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Maravilla's Cruz Credo got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lekko Spoceni's Marc-André Van Bastén was substituted for Sang Gama. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Marc-André Van Bastén took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Facundo Altamirano to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, Maravilla's Facundo Altamirano got control of the ball when Desiderio Ibañez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Lekko Spoceni's corner Wojciech Malicki fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Facundo Altamirano quite easily take care of the ball. Cruz Credo charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
