After a rather tough play, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Eugen Mihălțan got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Romos FC's goalkeeper Ovidiu Cosâmbescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Bianco Cappucci reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ovidiu Cosâmbescu. The goal made the score 1-0. Lucrețiu Ghimiș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Irinel Tatomir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A nice corner shot did that Eugen Mihălțan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ovidiu Cosâmbescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Irinel Tatomir got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Luisão Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nektarios Varveris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Romos FC got a corner. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wu Cheng De ran over to the corner to take the kick. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Nektarios Varveris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Romero in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irinel Tatomir in the 40th minute of play forced Romos FC's goalkeeper Ovidiu Cosâmbescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irinel Tatomir in the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luisão Romero to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irinel Tatomir in the 52nd minute of play forced Romos FC's goalkeeper Ovidiu Cosâmbescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Romos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Tatomir came free, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Irinel Tatomir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Romos FC's goalkeeper Ovidiu Cosâmbescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Christoffel Bracke was substituted for Eugen Mihălțan. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Ole-Petter Korsvik was substituted for Eliodor Gheban. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. With an all-out effort, Romos FC's Nektarios Varveris threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luisão Romero, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irinel Tatomir in the 68th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Lucrețiu Ghimiș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Irinel Tatomir came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irinel Tatomir couldn't finish the play. Romos FC made a substitution. Eric Şerbănescu replaced Xande Gatin. Nektarios Varveris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisão Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
