The Oakcroft Thrashers fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Oakcroft Thrashers's Ingemar Jonasson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The throw-in from George Vârșan in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Oakcroft Thrashers's Hugo Hellgren. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Andersson in the 20th minute of play. Iacob Povară showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingemar Jonasson in the 24th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Christoffer Modig successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luca Pancu in the 26th minute. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Luca Pancu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christoffer Modig in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Francisc Ciocoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Christoffer Modig made a huge save. In the 31st minute, Gheorghe Bociort got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christoffer Modig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sorin Cupșa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Francisc Ciocoiu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christoffer Modig, 1-1. The supporters of Oakcroft Thrashers booed when F.C CLUJ MEDICINA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gheorghe Bociort didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingemar Jonasson to strike the kick off in the second half. Gheorghe Bociort made in the 64th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luca Pancu however managed to control. Oakcroft Thrashers made a substitution. Jörn Holm replaced Ingemar Jonasson. Dan Petrescu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Francisc Ciocoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
