In the 12th minute Irinel Tatomir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but I Putu 董卓 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes Hendek Spor Kulübü got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Podolski. Nektarios Varveris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Podolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to Hendek Spor Kulübü getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Aşkın Suel hit a great ball. When Irinel Tatomir came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irinel Tatomir couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Podolski in the 28th minute of play forced ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's goalkeeper Nektarios Varveris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hendek Spor Kulübü's I Putu 董卓 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irinel Tatomir in the 31st minute of play. Nektarios Varveris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nacho Scocco in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Lucrețiu Ghimiș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nacho Scocco in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nektarios Varveris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Hendek Spor Kulübü's Binali Sezai got a free kick in the 39th minute. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Nektarios Varveris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nacho Scocco in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Nacho Scocco made the kick off in the second half. Nacho Scocco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Nektarios Varveris made a huge save. I Putu 董卓 came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Irinel Tatomir. But to his dismay, Irinel Tatomir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Nektarios Varveris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Podolski in the 56th minute of play. Lucrețiu Ghimiș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but I Putu 董卓 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. I Putu 董卓 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irinel Tatomir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Irinel Tatomir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Hendek Spor Kulübü's Nacho Scocco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nektarios Varveris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 70 minutes ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Faruk Salur who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Lukas Podolski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Nektarios Varveris did a great save. In the 74th minute, Binali Sezai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Lucrețiu Ghimiș sped through Hendek Spor Kulübü's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of I Putu 董卓. With a little luck, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Nektarios Varveris got control of the ball when Nacho Scocco tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irinel Tatomir in the 86th minute of play forced Hendek Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper I Putu 董卓 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. I Putu 董卓 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irinel Tatomir in the 90th minute of the match. Hendek Spor Kulübü's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
