EL CHINGOLO P C's Robustiano Nardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save EL CHINGOLO P C from getting a goal against them. After 8 played minutes Rian Giggs rounded EL CHINGOLO P C's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Sabaneta FC's Kevin Mier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Dubardo in the 11th minute of play. Cássio Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robustiano Nardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rian Giggs's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute Sabaneta FC were awarded a corner. Fabian Lawrence went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Petri Romuroso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but EL CHINGOLO P C's Robustiano Nardo did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Dubardo in the 24th minute of play forced Sabaneta FC's goalkeeper Kevin Mier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 26 in the game by Rian Giggs from a close distance when the talented Robustiano Nardo managed to make a qualified save. EL CHINGOLO P C's players were relieved. After 28 played minutes EL CHINGOLO P C got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Dersidan. EL CHINGOLO P C's Robustiano Nardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rian Giggs in the 29th minute of play. In the 38th minute, EL CHINGOLO P C's Silviu Dersidan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Silviu Dersidan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of EL CHINGOLO P C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Silviu Dersidan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 38 minutes into the game, one of EL CHINGOLO P C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Robustiano Nardo had in the 40thth minute some difficulties stopping Cássio Correia's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 42nd minute Rian Giggs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Nardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Sabaneta FC's Rian Giggs slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robustiano Nardo. That made the score 2-2 after 47 minutes of play. EL CHINGOLO P C's Eustaquio Bordat was substituted for Eulalio Dubardo. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rian Giggs to strike the kick off in the second half. Robustiano Nardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sabaneta FC made a substitution. Yoel Magarinos replaced Firman Urquizu. A collision led to Sabaneta FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Brun Bucaran hit a great ball. With his leg Kevin Mier managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when EL CHINGOLO P C's Romeo Alfonso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rian Giggs in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robustiano Nardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robustiano Nardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rian Giggs in the 72nd minute of play. Marcos Brion helped the player get up and apologised. Osmundo Bolde hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
