With an all-out effort, Unión De Santa Fe's Işık Günay threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ernesto Moise, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 范升扬 in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hector Fidencio saved Unión De Santa Fe from getting behind. Hector Fidencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Di Yang Bing, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Di Yang Bing in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Fidencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, Barrilete Cósmico FC's 范升扬 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hector Fidencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andrés Vombergar took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Fidencio. Hector Fidencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrés Vombergar in the 84th minute of play forced Unión De Santa Fe's goalkeeper Hector Fidencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrés Vombergar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chants of Barrilete Cósmico FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Unión De Santa Fe had held the ball for most of the match.
