With a left leg Hieronim Gdowski saved Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W from getting behind. 4 minutes into the match, Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's goal looked a bit too open when Petruț Fințescu came free, but Hieronim Gdowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hieronim Gdowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Fințescu in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven de Zwaan got free with Hieronim Gdowski in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's Hieronim Gdowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W from getting a goal against them. Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's Borys Rakowski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Celedonio Madeo in the 27 minute of the game. A collision led to Argentinos Juniors getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Eleuterio Milian hit a great ball. Hieronim Gdowski made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Sven de Zwaan sent off a good shot on target. Petruț Fințescu succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Borys Rakowski in the 44th minute. The corner led Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's Borys Rakowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Rigoberto Nazario despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's Hieronim Gdowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Mero in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilmar Couto to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Celedonio Madeo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Argentinos Juniors booed when Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 73rd minute Sven de Zwaan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Gdowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute of the match, Sever Corbu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rigoberto Nazario saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rigoberto Nazario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Ireno in the 83rd minute of play. In the 89th minute, Andres Ireno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hieronim Gdowski didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Argentinos Juniors's Robert Wilson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Argentinos Juniors fans cheered their team off the field, for while Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
