Granadero10's Vítor Antunes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hector Fidencio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Granadero10's Vítor Antunes got a free kick in the 37th minute. After the first half Granadero10 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tana Rede made the kick off in the second half. Unión De Santa Fe's Hector Fidencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tana Rede in the 51st minute of play. When Manos Briolas fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unión De Santa Fe's protests and gave Manos Briolas a yellow card for diving instead. Hector Fidencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tana Rede in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paskal Ayarza in the 59th minute of play forced Granadero10's goalkeeper Alfredinho Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardinho Fonseca got free with Hector Fidencio in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute Paskal Ayarza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Unión De Santa Fe's Hector Fidencio got control of the ball when Vítor Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Granadero10's Norberto Simão was substituted for Vítor Antunes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paskal Ayarza in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredinho Cavalcante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Granadero10 defense, Paskal Ayarza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredinho Cavalcante. The Granadero10 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredinho Cavalcante should have stopped the shot. Granadero10 made a substitution. Erick Cavero replaced Laerte Soeiro. With a little luck, Unión De Santa Fe's Hector Fidencio got control of the ball when Fredrik Masculier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfredinho Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paskal Ayarza in the 81st minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Fredrik Masculier got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
