The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, O rey Iván's Mihály Fülep sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruperto Nayely narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Rafael Nisio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aristides Barea. O rey Iván's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Nisio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Pendex getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Nelson de Brito hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Mihály Fülep reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ruperto Nayely. The goal made the score 1-1. Augusto Fliz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pendex's Ruperto Nayely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihály Fülep in the 18th minute of play. You Ting kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pendex's You Ting got a free kick in the 25th minute. Pendex were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after O rey Iván's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saul Bembe took the corner. Pendex's Saul Bembe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aristides Barea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aristides Barea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafael Nisio went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute Mihály Fülep shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Nayely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristides Barea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Nisio in the 38th minute of play. If Cleto Qwinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Nisio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. O rey Iván's Aristides Barea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Nisio in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Pendex's Rafael Nisio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. O rey Iván's Pastor Martxot was substituted for Dionisio Orland. O rey Iván's Ivan Lizar was substituted for Mihály Fülep. O rey Iván's Alejandro Ponciano was substituted for Modesto Garcia. In the 60th minute, Ivan Lizar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruperto Nayely was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 63 minutes into the match, O rey Iván's goalkeeper Aristides Barea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Nisio. 65 minutes into the match, Ivan Lizar notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Pendex's Ruperto Nayely. Ruperto Nayely was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pendex's Antonio Inguma was substituted for Ryan Keuppens. Augusto Fliz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, O rey Iván's goalkeeper Aristides Barea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Inguma. With a little luck, O rey Iván's Aristides Barea got control of the ball when Antonio Inguma tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Pendex's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Lizar came free, but Ruperto Nayely reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogo Crescencio got free with Aristides Barea in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Nisio in the 91st minute of play forced O rey Iván's goalkeeper Aristides Barea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by You Ting in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by O rey Iván's Franz Kafka. Rafael Nisio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aristides Barea having to make a save. Pendex's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
