União Sport Clube Paredes's Edwin van der Sar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save União Sport Clube Paredes from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the game, Jerónimo Furtado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gavino Ubarna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gavino Ubarna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerónimo Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind FISHBONE 06's goalkeeper Gavino Ubarna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, União Sport Clube Paredes's goal looked a bit too open when Elvir Bešimović came free, but Edwin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rekib Božić made a kick off. Alexandre Santana in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gavino Ubarna, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gavino Ubarna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Szczepanowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Jerónimo Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Gavino Ubarna made a huge save. 56 minutes into the match, Jakub Szczepanowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gavino Ubarna, 1-2. 62 minutes into the match, FISHBONE 06's goalkeeper Gavino Ubarna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandre Santana. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Santana got free with Gavino Ubarna in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. União Sport Clube Paredes made a substitution. Horia Taşcu replaced Dabi Saens. Jerónimo Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Gavino Ubarna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. União Sport Clube Paredes's Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Branislav Cokić in the 78th minute of play. Gavino Ubarna made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Alexandre Santana sent off a good shot on target. When Jakub Szczepanowski came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the União Sport Clube Paredes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakub Szczepanowski couldn't finish the play. Gavino Ubarna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre Santana in the 94th minute. Jakub Szczepanowski struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Gavino Ubarna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for União Sport Clube Paredes. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched União Sport Clube Paredes eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
