Gavino Ubarna was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jelte Bleiswijk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Rekib Božić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanasis Koltsidas having to interfere. If Jelte Bleiswijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jelte Bleiswijk in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Ubarna saved FISHBONE 06 from getting behind. Jelte Bleiswijk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gavino Ubarna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jelte Bleiswijk in the 20th minute of play. After 28 played minutes AEK S.C got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco de Andrade. Branislav Cokić hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Thanasis Koltsidas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvir Bešimović, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Jelte Bleiswijk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rekib Božić to make the kick off. During this time FISHBONE 06's players had a chance to rest. 84 minutes into the match, AEK S.C's goalkeeper Thanasis Koltsidas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvir Bešimović. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Jelte Bleiswijk put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gavino Ubarna. In the 88th minute, Kevin Carreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AEK S.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Sayvion Tamargo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. FISHBONE 06's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thalis Krommidas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. AEK S.C were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FISHBONE 06 for a fine match.
