Freddy Tartales scored 2-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amerigo Muzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Aloísio Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Freddy Tartales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amerigo Muzi was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 69th minute Freddy Tartales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Muzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ennio Furia's late challenge caught a Floripa Lions FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ennio Furia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind ............'s goalkeeper Roman Masharov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
