Zbigniew Werra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Luís Paulo de Moraes might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cafu Negri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Paulo de Moraes ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel de Andrade in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cafu Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cafu Negri didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FURIOZA's Emanuel de Andrade shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Virgílio Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, FURIOZA's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Zalayeta came free, but Zbigniew Werra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
