The corner led Habsburgo's Benjamin Orti to fire away a dangerous shot which Gentil Macieira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. AD Pontassolense's Gentil Macieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian Pay in the 26th minute of play. Honorato Aznaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Catarinense in the 30th minute of the match. Willian Pay's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Gentil Macieira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Habsburgo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Habsburgo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
