With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Shepherd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute of the match KN ZGORZELEC got a corner. AD Pontassolense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariusz Kaleta ran over to the corner to take the kick. AD Pontassolense's Gentil Macieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Karaszkiewicz in the 23rd minute of play. Emilio Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Madruga, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91st match minute, AD Pontassolense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Onofre to maneuver through the defense. Rene Payueta hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KN ZGORZELEC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
