In the 16th minute, José Carlos Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the game, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Luiz Gustavo do Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Honorato Aznaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 24th minute, Willian Pay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amerigo Muzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 39 minutes into the match, Habsburgo's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo do Valle came free, but Honorato Aznaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Floripa Lions FSCMZ's Pedro Luís Alvarenga to fire away a dangerous shot which Honorato Aznaro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Habsburgo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Floripa Lions FSCMZ were winning 1-2.

57 minutes into the match, Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Willian Pay came free, but Amerigo Muzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Habsburgo's Honorato Aznaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Habsburgo from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute of the game Exequiel Viera made a throw-in which Domenico Di Nino played forward. A collision led to Floripa Lions FSCMZ getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Honorato Aznaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Montenegro in the 81st minute of the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Floripa Lions FSCMZ's goalkeeper Amerigo Muzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Habsburgo's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Montenegro came free, but Honorato Aznaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When José Carlos Alagoano came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Floripa Lions FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Carlos Alagoano couldn't finish the play. Honorato Aznaro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hortêncio Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 93 minute of play.
