After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Hamílton Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot. VN Ultra Spartak's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamílton Tinoco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute of the game Enzo Batistuta made a throw-in which Liu Liang Yuan played forward. In the 48th minute of the match Igor Szpakowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Buffon skillfully saved the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

São José City - FSCMZ's Dagoberto Linares was substituted for Elias Rocha. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genaro Aragones to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Lewandowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Buffon was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Tarcisio Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Batistuta made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by VN Ultra Spartak's Hristiyan Lalov. Cristiano Lewandowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute.
