With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodd Laing in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Prior saved MILLONARIOS FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Cosa nostra Lyon's Erwann Patrice got a free kick in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Christoffer Blomqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. MILLONARIOS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christoffer Blomqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clem Fath breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelo Prior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodd Laing in the 16th minute of play. Angelo Prior made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodd Laing in the 18th minute. Rodd Laing took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Prior. Angelo Prior dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 27th match minute, Cosa nostra Lyon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davy Patron to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Christoffer Blomqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clem Fath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Van Acker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rodd Laing came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Cosa nostra Lyon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodd Laing couldn't finish the play. Thierry Platon kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christoffer Blomqvist got free with Clem Fath in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelo Prior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodd Laing in the 66th minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Rafael Jauregui managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MILLONARIOS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Jauregui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clem Fath made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Jauregui in the 70th minute. Clem Fath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Corredor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath got control of the ball when Christoffer Blomqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christoffer Blomqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Clem Fath made a huge save. 85 minutes into the game, Boris Van Acker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Clem Fath was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mon Ibaute made in the 87th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rafael Jauregui. In the 91st minute, Tim Ménet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Prior was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Angelo Prior showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwann Patrice, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Cosa nostra Lyon could leave the field as winners, despite MILLONARIOS FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
