José Maria Goiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Maria Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Blomqvist in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Zachariasz Rzentkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Christoffer Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match MILLONARIOS FC got a corner. Poetass FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafael Jauregui ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 15th minute, Poetass FC's Kalle Billberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Angelo Prior made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jon-Egil Schjelderup in the 19th minute. José Maria Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Blomqvist in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Poetass FC booed when MILLONARIOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Blomqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Christoffer Blomqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. José Maria Goiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Christoffer Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Angelo Prior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeng Xu Yuan in the 34th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jon-Egil Schjelderup got free with Angelo Prior in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christoffer Blomqvist scored 1-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Maria Goiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, MILLONARIOS FC's Angelo Prior got control of the ball when Kalle Billberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. MILLONARIOS FC's Angelo Prior proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save MILLONARIOS FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeng Xu Yuan was the one to do the kick off. Christoffer Blomqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but José Maria Goiano made a huge save. In the 59th minute, Christoffer Blomqvist made a precise shot to the right of José Maria Goiano. Poetass FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Poetass FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Christoffer Blomqvist scored to the left of an out of position José Maria Goiano, making the score, 1-5. Poetass FC's Vicente Heidemann was substituted for Cássio Maia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalle Billberg in the 67th minute of play forced MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Angelo Prior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Prior made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. José Maria Goiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoffer Blomqvist in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, MILLONARIOS FC's Christoffer Blomqvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. Christoffer Blomqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Prior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Brysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MILLONARIOS FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
