The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Julin got free with Nicolae Ceaușescu in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolae Ceaușescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kurt Julin in the 29th minute. 14 YâReN FC's Andoni Zubizarreta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aarne Mikkola in the 33rd minute of play. Nicolae Ceaușescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fırat Uruç's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Sol Campbell charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tobiasz Rostow stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
