Pipis Karapatakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Bogdan Marek made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Galja Kraków's goalkeeper Bogdan Marek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pipis Karapatakis. Jardel Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Arriba in the 22nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zbyszek Pawelczyk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jardel Sanches was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The Grêmio FBPA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Galja Kraków's performance. The match ended with a win for Galja Kraków.
