In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Delta FS's goalkeeper Gualter Roriz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fryderyk Motowski in the 6th minute of play forced Delta FS's goalkeeper Gualter Roriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fryderyk Motowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualter Roriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Delta FS got a freekick which was hit by Kong Xi Liang. Gualter Roriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Motowski in the 14th minute of play. Kong Xi Liang hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Gualter Roriz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fryderyk Motowski's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. When Delta FS's Amedeo De Matteis in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Fryderyk Motowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gualter Roriz having to make a save. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Delta FS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan Čuk was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Kraków1983's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Edmund Loncki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Delta FS's Gualter Roriz did a great save. Gualter Roriz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fryderyk Motowski in the 57th minute. Zenon Niezywy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andaka Mula, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Kang Peng Jian hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Zenon Niezywy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Odin's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 64thth minute of the game Fryderyk Motowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delta FS's Gualter Roriz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Álvaro Vilaverde cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Zenon Niezywy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Álvaro Vilaverde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st match minute, FC Kraków1983 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomil Mentis to maneuver through the defense. Zenon Niezywy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andaka Mula in the 72nd minute of the match. FC Kraków1983's Zenon Niezywy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo De Matteis in the 89th minute of play. FC Kraków1983 made a substitution. Izydor Puzio replaced Juan Čuk. The supporters of FC Kraków1983 booed when Delta FS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andaka Mula didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Kraków1983's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
