In the 16th minute, Dawid Wietrzychowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garth Brough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ermengol Baena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Brough in the 19th minute of play. After 24 played minutes Australian Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Jarrod Mcmillan. Keylor Navas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Bosch in the 25th minute of play. Garth Brough could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ermengol Baena made a huge save. After some careless play in the ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► defense, Ellis Hoskin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermengol Baena. The ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermengol Baena should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute Nicollao Narbona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keylor Navas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garth Brough could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ermengol Baena made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s zone, Garth Brough stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermengol Baena came out of the goal and Garth Brough tried to chip the ball over his head. Joaquim Hita kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goalkeeper Ermengol Baena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hermengildo Mambru was slow to take the kick. During this time Australian Youth Academy's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Roy Baba heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Keylor Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Bosch in the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Garth Brough managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Australian Youth Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garth Brough was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute, Garth Brough left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Australian Youth Academy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 80 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Bosch came free, but Keylor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Daniel Golob had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keylor Navas. Australian Youth Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Golob was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4.
