Pavel Balc showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Roch Grondzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pipis Karapatakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Ulises Curcio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roch Grondzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pipis Karapatakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Stone City's goal looked a bit too open when Pipis Karapatakis came free, but Roch Grondzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Derek Yu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jardel Sanches read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio FBPA from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on Stone City's corner Esteve Argenis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jardel Sanches quite easily take care of the ball. After 72 played minutes Stone City got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Herrera. In the 73rd match minute, Stone City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Herrera to maneuver through the defense. Pipis Karapatakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Roch Grondzki made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio FBPA's zone, Albino Millano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jardel Sanches came out of the goal and Albino Millano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grêmio FBPA made a substitution. Ted Hoogenkamp replaced Filiph Biörling. Berndt Edelweiss charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berndt Edelweiss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pavel Balc scored 2-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jardel Sanches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Stone City had won after a very even match.
